WASH United is back in Laini Saba Primary School, Kibera

Laini Saba Primary Schools Girls!

The Office of Human Rights, Christ the King Catholic Church, in Laini Saba, Kibera joined students of Laini Saba Primary School in 3 days of participatory learning while playing. 271 students aged between 8 to 17 years, of which 146 were girls and 125 actively participated in WASH United WASH in Schools educational and game related activities between 27th and 2nd July 2010.

“There was no doubt that the students remembered Ghana’s strong and fearless performance at the world cup, it was therefore exciting to see the students from both lower and upper primary schools interact together eager to become WASH United champions. It’s exciting to involve students in a sports activity with a message and where all the students are winners!” Doreen Wagithi, Coordinator Office of Human Rights
